Hi guys! Since I'm an Indonesian, I really really really want to introduce all of you how we talk in Indonesia. Bahasa Indonesia, or well known in English as Indonesian. Btw, you can call it as Bahasa too. To make this language go International, I always try to speak in 2 languages, Bahasa and English. So that, I can talk to many people from other countries and in the same time I can promote Bahasa.
For this time, I want to introduce you, some of Bahasa words. It's not hard to learn it, I promise. You still don't believe it? Oh my, let's give a try!

*Greetings
Halo : Hi/ Hello
Selamat Pagi : Good Morning
Selamat Siang : Good Afternoon / Good Day
Selamat Sore : Good Evening
Selamat Malam : Good Evening (For you to notice, in Indonesia, time over than 18:00 or 6 p.m. is called night).
+ You're allowed to only say 'Selamat Pagi' as Pagi, and so those words. Notice that, without 'selamat' it not only to greet but also explain about time.
Selamat Tinggal : Good Bye (btw, you can say it as 'daah' too. But for informal dialogue only)
Selamat : Congratulation/ congrats (this 'Selamat' is different from the words before. When you only say this, it means that you want to gratitude someone).
**Example Conversation
A : "Selamat pagi" <Good morning>
B : "Pagi" <Good morning>
A : "Bagaimana Kabarmu? / apa kabar?" <how are you?>
B : "Baik / kabar baik. Bagaimana denganmu?" <Good. How about you?>
A : "Baik juga" <Good>
So how do you think? It's quite easy isn't it? Next time I might post more and more ^^
